Better than my original
My original drive (same model but older) never showed any noticeable errors, but my laptop was slowing down and showing too much drive activity even when idle. I installed this drive and my laptop started working like new. It may have newer firmware and be more compatible with the latest security updates for the Meltdown bug. Or maybe my original had an unrecognizable problem. In any case, this drive was a very cheap repair and stayed in good condition for at least 7 months. No complaints.
