Review on Ball Cast HSA D003 Dining Chairs by Elizabeth White

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Nice chairs for the price

I bought these chairs because of the metal frame and legs. You sit comfortably in it. The balls of my feet are touching the ground (I'm 5'4). The fabric has a muted pattern. Folding loose fabric on the top of the chair. Now the seat cushion is soft, which means you're sort of falling through. I weigh 125 pounds and feel a hard seat through the pillow but sit comfortably when eating. I haven't attempted to sit in the seats for more than 40 minutes, but I can imagine the seat feeling stiff on heavier individuals after over an hour. The front legs are adjustable, which is good because the chairs rock. The legs will be more stable when you sit on it. I rearranged chairs and did not damage the wooden floors. I like that they glide across the floor more easily than my other dining chairs but are definitely not slippery. The chairs are on the narrow side, so a group of people can sit at the table. A wider base may not fit. With Scotchguard and no fabric damage. So far not a single dog hair has gotten caught in the back vent (which I was afraid of). Pros: price, comfort, durability (metal frame/legs), looks. Disadvantages: wobbly, seat cushion too soft.
