I bought it because I wanted to use the hotkey function. But hotkeys are Ctrl+F4 or Shift+Numlock etc. Hotkeys are a series of keys that you press simultaneously to trigger a function. To do this, you need to press Ctrl, then press Ctrl, press 1 or 2, and then press Enter. This is a series of keystrokes, NOT a hotkey. And why would you create a hotkey function that requires 4 keystrokes, at this point you might as well use a physical button. So if you are looking for a switch with HOTKEY, skip this device. Edit: The company contacted me and heard my concerns about a real hotkey. They said they are working on a firmware update that will fix this issue. It will be a great addition to the product. I will check again after the update.
