Review on BringerPet Pet Stairs For Tall Bed Foam Pet Steps White 5 Step Dog Cat Animal Ramp by Amy Smith

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Snowy white and soft

I purchased these stairs to help our dog get onto our bed. He likes to sleep at the foot of our bed but we have a taller bed frame and he whines to get on and off. He’s not a huge dog so while it’s not a big deal when your awake , it is a big deal when your sleeping and the dog needs to get down. I went higher end because I needed something tall enough and many of the other options I looked at would still leave our little guy having to jump. Our dog is not old and is not a breed that suffers with hip dysplasia but why risk over stretching their hips unnecessarily? So I guess it’s not only preventative but helpful for the pet parent. The stairs are very, very soft and I don’t know that I would recommend them for dogs that have black/dark fur and shed. Although, you could easily vacuum the stairs if you did have a dark haired dog. I have already used my hand vacuum in ours and it worked fine. I would describe the color as one shade darker than white (but not much). I chose the light color in our bedroom because it’s very neutral and matched our bedroom colors. Also, our dog is not only light blonde but doesn’t shed so the fur wasn’t a problem for us. The stairs are sturdy like a very dense memory foam. Our toddler even likes to play on them. They are sturdy enough for her to climb up into the bed then safely back down again without any help. I will say that was an added bonus I didn’t even think about. They are also wide enough that they can easily accommodate a big dog (or little one). I have ours at the foot of the bed so they don’t hinder either side of the bed for the adults.

Pros
  • The right size for our 7 pound Chihuahuas.
Cons
  • The product may not be sturdy enough to support larger pets, posing a safety risk for both the pet and the owner
