I recently replaced all the silver doorknobs in our house with these levers (7 Pass and 8 Privacy). Instantly, it made our house 10 times more elegant and modern. I felt that they were very easy to install and I didn't notice any bugs or design flaws. I'm really impressed with how sturdy they are and I think they look and feel high quality. The only thing worth mentioning is that the instructions don't mention an important step. I've installed many different knobs and levers over the years so I'm familiar with the process. However, if you've never installed door handles before, you might have a hard time figuring this out. Someone else explained it well in the reviews, but I can also quickly recap. When it's time to connect the two sides of the lever through the hole you will need to remove the cover/knob on one side to attach the base - do this BEFORE screwing the two sides together. Inside the screw pack you will see a small wire with a ring on the end. On the lever you will notice a very small golden hole at the base. You will need to slide the wire through this hole to release the cover/handle. The easiest way to do this is to put your thumb in the ring, use the weight of your hand to push the wire into the hole while simultaneously pulling on the handle. You need to push the wire into the gold hole fairly hard and pull at the same time. It might look like you're damaging it, but it's not.
