I was hoping that I could wear these Ankle Boots outside in the cold instead of relying on my outdoor boots with felt inserts. They look like they would be warm. Unfortunately, that is not possible at all as the boots have no ability to keep the cold out. Whatever lining they have in these boots, it is very ineffective when the temperatures outside are in the upper 20’s or lower 30’s (F). Also, the inner sole of the boots is completely flat, no contours of support or cushioning at all. I find them awkward feeling. They do fit as I expected and allow room for thicker socks but because there is no insulation at all, or inefficient insulation, the cold gets in readily. I’m not impressed.
