Bought to use an old monitor with my docking station. The display port on the dock worked with a different monitor and cable, and the DVI inputs on the two monitors I tried worked with an HDMI-to-DVI cable. Regardless of the combination and video settings I tried, I couldn't get this cable to work with any monitor. I have to believe the cable is bad because I was able to test all the other inputs and outputs. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to test the component before the return window closed. 30 days seems ridiculous considering the Revain Basics brand cables I bought have until 2022 to be returned.
