Overall I love this table. I ordered two to replace the Balt LX dual console just so I could plug my gaming rig and my friend's gaming rig into separate outlets to reduce electrical stress. I disagree with other reviewers that you need the bottom shelf as a footstool. I find it small enough that you don't feel uncomfortable if your chair is at the right height. I don't use the keyboard/mouse tray (see pictures) because my gaming keyboards are actually too big for the space allotted in the tray area. Also, it's not wide enough for a mechanical gaming keyboard and hard pad. On a positive note, the table surface feels incredibly precise and responsive with my Razer Naga mice. For my friend's setup, his medium-sized makeshift tower fits perfectly on the bottom shelf. This tower is larger, on average, than most computers you buy today, so you shouldn't have a problem with that. It uses a RipJawz mechanical keyboard, which was too big and wide for the tray when combined with a mouse, so it is placed on top. Its subwoofer also fits on the bottom shelf. Our monitors are ASUS 1ms HDMI compact monitors and they are mounted on Uboard glass boards. They fit perfectly and offer some extra storage space under the monitor. Its L/R speakers could only be behind a monitor on a desk. Not the best place for sound, but it's good until we can build shelves. Now. My computer. Please see the pictures (this is a white computer tower). Someone mentioned that they have enough space for their full size tower and showed a picture. was medium sized. THIS computer is a full height tower and as you can see it is almost as tall as the entire table and twice as deep. Obviously putting it on the bottom shelf was impossible, so I put my HP 3-in-1 printer on the bottom shelf. The table is so solid that my monitor doesn't even rattle when I'm typing and I'm very happy with it. My keyboard is a MadCatz STRIKE TE mechanical gaming keyboard, which is slightly narrower than the RipJawz but larger. Therefore, it did not fit in the keyboard tray area. However, I had enough space. Working with the Razer Vespula mouse pad is difficult there. The keyboard partially rests on the carpet. I would have liked about four inches more width across the entire desktop, but I didn't even expect that to work. :) Not looking for miracles, just looking for space-saving options, and that's it. As you can see, my subwoofer was also a bit larger and had to be removed from the side, which then served as a shelf for my headsets. I ended up using the keyboard tray to hide my USB Blu-ray, SD drive and external SSD. So what's the last word? This is a preference. My Balt LX had more than enough room for all my options and extras. But I really needed space in the room. If you have an extreme gaming setup and just need a table but aren't too concerned about space, look elsewhere. If you're an occasional college dorm gamer living with others, you're looking for something that you can easily move or just need some space. be careful if you're a peripheral junkie like me. Use my photos as a guide to see what kind of gamer you are.
