This Electric Foot Scrubber from BOMPOW is almost a clone of a brand name foot file, but just a bit better. I have a blue Amope Pedi Perfect, so I was able to make a good comparison between the two.This file is lighter and more ergonomic to hold. The handle is slimmer and longer than the Amope’s, so this file fits nicely in the hand. It’s easier to hold when I’m bending over at an awkward angle to reach the bottom of my feet.The Amope requires 4 AA batteries, so that adds considerable weight. This file has a rechargeable battery, so that makes it lighter, and also reduces battery waste.Usage wise, the two are identical. The BOMPOW file works great to file away dead skin and callouses. The box includes 3 heads in total: a fine grit head, a medium grit head, and a coarse grit head.The first press of the power button turns the file on and puts it at high speed. Pressing the button again lowers the speed. The third press turns it off. The file will slow when using if you press it too hard against yourself.While I really like that the file is rechargeable, I wish the charging cable was a micro USB or the like. Instead, the cable is a proprietary magnetic head that will probably be impossible to replace if it breaks or wears out.
