I only have one 12 volt outlet (cigarette lighter) on the dash of my RV. When I use the splitter and connect a tire monitor and GPS, the weight of the splitter detaches the splitter and it falls out. especially when on some bumpy road. This completely solved this problem. The junction box is located directly under the dashboard on the carpet. and there is no weight on the outlet other than the plug and part of the cord. It powers the GPS and tire monitor and leaves me USB outlets for our phones. And also. The bonus is that it constantly monitors my battery voltage. I highly recommend it. That works great.
