Very practical box for berries, ideal for rinsing and preserving berries with vinegar and water. If you are unfamiliar with the vinegar and water trick. Rinse the berries with fresh water first (this box makes the job easier), then fill the container with 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water and soak the berries for 5 minutes. or so. Don't rinse afterwards, just drain and let the vinegar/water dry, you won't be able to taste it later. Vinegar will kill any mold and fungi that are spoiling your berries and ensure they stay fresh in the veg fridge much longer than usual. Works with blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, etc., but not as well with strawberries. Addendum: Just a side note: I've had one of the round ones for a long time and bought these square ones thinking they'd be easier to fold and store and they do, but if you hand wash like me I have these Round ones are much easier to clean as the square ones have lots of little nooks and crannies that are difficult to get a sponge into.
