The lid of this thing is tight and difficult to open. I bought two of these because I still have one. It is round and very easy to open. I would love to return it or exchange it for a round one, but I already threw away the packaging.

Strawberry in our home is a game changer. My daughter loves strawberries but as always at 4 years old she sometimes doesn't want any during the week. After being soaked in water and dried in this container, they can be stored for more than 2 weeks. Highly recommend getting it for all your berries.

I have a couple of these and they are adjustable (lid on, lid off but under strainer etc.). I also like that the lid is transparent so you can see what's inside. They've held up well for a few years. I use one color for the berries and another for the mini carrots. We've had a few incidents of ground fall and so far we haven't had any breaks or cracks.

Why on earth would a manufacturer put a sticky label on the bottom of a basket? All those little holes will now be filled with glue and paper after soaking and soaking to loosen. Adhesive labels generally annoy me, but this is clearly not well thought out. The quality of the basket was not what I expected for the price. I was hoping for a better feel for the material. Looks cheap but functional.

Excellent product! I love fresh berries, but I'm disappointed when they get moldy or shriveled after a few days. This product will keep them fresh and plump from a week to 10 days. I mix 2 cups of water with 1 teaspoon or a capful of vinegar. I pour it into a container and let it stand for a minute. I drain the berries and then let them dry on a towel. Very practical box for berries, ideal for rinsing and preserving berries with vinegar and water. If you are unfamiliar with the vinegar and water trick. Rinse the berries with fresh water first (this box makes the job easier), then fill the container with 1 part vinegar and 4 parts water and soak the berries for 5 minutes. or so.
