I previously gave a 5 star review because everything was great! My 6 year old used it quite a bit. She's never been rough with it, she's only ever ridden it on smooth, flat surfaces like our driveway and neighborhood. We also kept it in our garage when not in use. He has never been exposed to the elements. It's only been a week or two before it's been a year since we got the kart and the steering box fell off! Thank god it didn't happen when my daughter was on it. I am very upset and dissatisfied with this product. It didn't take long for this to become a death trap. Don't buy this. Save and invest in something safer.
