I am very satisfied with these lights. The mirror helps more than I thought to match the colors with the camera. I mainly use them as bounce lighting, meaning they reflect the light off the white wall, but I also use them at a 15 degree angle from horizontal to us on the green screen to put the green screen on the floor between me and the Camera to illuminate white blackout curtain to reflect the light as much as possible. I started writing RSS comments for my feed using a Logitech C922X webcam and some cheap USB lights. Eventually I started doing green screen and buying cheaper LED bulbs and it was very difficult to turn the light on and off and the quality of the webcam became unbearable. With these lights, I can turn on a light switch, turn on the cameras, and launch OBS. I recently found a gem of a webcam that goes great with a GoPro, the NexiGo N980P, it has a straight 120 degree lens (which means no barrel distortion) but the webcam, like most, has very poor exposure compensation and a very bad white balance. . . This is where fine-tuned brightness and color temperature lighting really helps you fine-tune the light to overcome low-resolution webcam exposure and terrible white balance. The trick to getting a good white balance from a webcam is knowing the color temperature of the room. There is a lot of wood in my room, so my 6000K LED string lights on the ceiling become 5400K after the light reflects off the wood. You can really see the difference by matching the white balance to the room. When the color temperature is higher than the room temperature, it looks like there is a point of light on your face. If the color temperature is too low, your face will look orange. The trick is to put something white in the scene so the camera can compensate for the white. White blackout curtains look great. If you can't do that, being able to adjust the temperature of the light with an LCD is very useful, which is why I highly recommend it over cheap lamps.
