Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm only giving 5 stars because I can't give 6

EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT! Installs without major problems, can work with Rhapsody and Musicmatch, and play files you have on your hard drive. Comments: a) SimpleCenter installs without any problems. The only catch: To download the firmware update, you have to create an account and register. Otherwise, the Download Firmware Update button will be disabled (you need to update the firmware to use Rhapsody). It doesn't seem to be documented anywhere that an account needs to be created first (if at all), b) when creating an account, there is no popup that the registration is complete. Otherwise there are no complaints. Rhapsody and Musicmatch require Universal Plug and Play servers to be enabled. Both services will then appear on the Omnifi screen. Can play albums, playlists and individual tracks. The screen is fairly legible (I was initially worried it wasn't), similar in settings and size to an XM radio. Fairly complete information is available on the screen. There are 10 presets and favorites that can be controlled via the remote control. Network setup is pretty easy. I'm using a spare Linksys WAP11 wireless bridge. No problem. Just plug in the cable. The sound quality is okay. Slightly worse than Xitel's ProHIFI. However, it's adequate even for listening to classical music on a high quality stereo (if you can accept MP3 quality). Highly recommended. I will buy 2 more units. I want this little device in every room where I have speakers. Fairly complete information is available on the screen.
