Overheats after a few minutes

Update: Since Prime Day didn't have better options (and my first charger also failed after less than 1 week of use) I decided to get a replacement. The second device seems to perform much better, getting over 2000mA of charge current when cold, but still couldn't charge more than 15% before overheating and slowing charging to a bare minimum. It might be worth the extra cost for the little USB-powered fan I brought with me, but they really shouldn't be selling these Qi fast chargers without built-in fans. Original review: The AccuBattery app shows useful statistics like charging current and temperature. It charges normally when the phone is cold (1200mA at 90Β°F), but after a few minutes the phone heats up to over 100Β°F and the charging current then drops, first to 700mA, then to 100mA. I couldn't charge more than 10% with this charger without removing the phone and letting it cool down. Pros: - Overheat protection seems to work (?) - Doubles as a heater Cons: - Overheat protection always works
