I've never rated anything I've bought. I would definitely recommend buying this but you will need additional items. When you purchase this item, order Velcro (4 pack @ $6.99 Revain) per side. Also order some edge glue (1 for $1.97 on Amazon) to secure the bottom because if you leave it hanging light will seep through the bottom. Don't be afraid of the hem, my kids know how to use it. If you just order this item without attaching it to the window, you will be very disappointed. Fools won't, I repeat, tape this to your window. You wait 2 more days for another package and cannot use it. I'm patient, I tried to see if they would work before undoing the velcro. So now it's here, but I'm awaiting another assignment to get it there. Then I am 100% sure that with a portable blackout curtain attached to the window and my blackout drapes, it will be dark in my room until I open the window.
