Photos are wrong - they are packaged very nicely indeed and I was so pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look very pretty on the outside due to the craft box, but when you open it it looks like a nicely wrapped gift (or subscription box). I love the pink and charitable aspect of this product. But among other things, these reusable nursing pads are SO soft! I have many of these reusable items, but they have always been a little scratchy and not as soft to the touch. That's great. I never have too many things at home because I do 2-3 shifts a day and do laundry every 2-3 days, so I need a lot of extra stuff before laundry day. They also come with a laundry bag so you can put them in a bag and throw them in the wash. If you have them in your bag, make sure they don't get scattered in the wash or maybe disappear into the black hole of your socks. It also protects and enhances the lifting of those reusable pads. From an environmental point of view, I like to use these reusable items and almost never use cotton disposable items. If you are looking for reusable pads, give these a try. They're soft, very good quality and well made - oh and there's a charity aspect too, so 5 thumbs up!
