I have a third HP laptop/PC. In general, my purchases went smoothly, so I kept coming back to HP. However, this monitor, which I use with the Pavilion 6240, proved to be a problem. One of the issues are the built-in speakers, which I find to be weak, lacking in volume and sound quality. The second problem is more worrying. The image on the screen always needs to be adjusted, especially after reboots and system changes/settings. The image reverts to a horizontal image that extends slightly beyond the screen (horizontal to the right) and a non-default synchronized image. Image problems are noticeable and require manual correction, which is a combination of factory reset and automatic adjustment with 1, 2 or 3 clicks. What an exact combination. Who knows? The combination that works varies from day to day. It's such an irritant. The picture control problem with this monitor is known. I only wish I had known that before buying. I can't wait to replace this monitor and will think twice before buying from HP again.
