UPDATE: I've uploaded another 'last' photo showing the plastic tightening nut to hold the mirror in place, well mine has cracked as you can see in the photo and I can't put the part back on screw the mirror. I think this is a design flaw, they should have been metal instead of plastic. The mirror worked great for what I was using it for, but as I said the plastic nut had to be steel. Although it happened after 3 days. After the return period, when I contacted Revain and showed them the photo, they refunded my money. THANK YOU AMAZON! I would like a steel nut for this because I really liked it and it helped a lot with my problem of turning my head! I won't change my assessment but be aware this can happen, my plastic nut could be defective so I check the plastic nut first when buying. I had a neck injury in a car accident 30 years ago, I can't turn my head to the right and I can hardly turn to the left. I was looking for a mirror that I could attach somehow so I could look in and see if there were cars on my right as I drove since I can't turn my head to the right. If someone with me is not needed. I saw this mirror and thought it was perfect and IT IS SAFE. I clip it to the handle above your head when you get out of the car and it's flexible enough that I can position it so I'm looking straight ahead in the mirror and it was like looking out my right window. He is durable. enough that it stays in place even after hitting bumps. I know it probably wasn't made for what I did with it, but if anyone has the same problem as me this will help.
