These are counterfeit blades. The lifespan was 7 weeks before they started pulling on my hair. The blades can also cause minor cuts. Norelco no longer uses wave color for the decorative pattern. The pattern disappeared after 4 weeks. Genuine Norelco blades retain their pattern after a year of use. Also, Norelco's current pattern is a geometric circle, not a wave. The blades detach from the drive shafts when tilted, resulting in an annoying noise due to the flat socket construction on the back of the blade. The blades came in a box similar to the discontinued Philips Norelco color scheme and lettering.
