I'm 6ft 2in with an athletic build. No belly and bulky muscles. My usual jersey size is Large or X-Large. I bought it in size 3XL and thought I would wear it underneath. However, even in size 3XL, it was too tight. The worst thing about the fit was the non-slip belt. to stress the zip and I can't imagine it not breaking from the stress of the zip when moving. He's built like a woman or like a 13-year-old boy. I don't agree with what others say about the right temperature. I could wear this with a tank top underneath and be fine, probably up to 32 degrees. I would definitely NOT wear that's definitely not the temp over the high 30's. This is based on other jerseys made by the same company from the same material, plus walking around the block in just this tank top and heavy duty bib shorts ( yes, I looked ridiculous). I ordered a 4XL to replace this, not just for the size, but this unit ended up being used or previously returned as the tags were cut off. I'm sure a long sleeve compression top will work up to 27-30 degrees. But remember I'm not a casual racer - I've been training all winter and we're moving at a pretty good pace. I gave it four stars for build quality and deducted one star because the sizing and waistband are too tight. .
