Surprisingly nice for the price

I am pleasantly surprised by this blanket. He's a good weight, although not very fat and worth an arm and a leg. It was vacuum sealed so it looked pathetically thin, but it expanded appropriately when opened. No weird smell that would make you wash it quickly. The subtle smell he had was quickly gone as soon as he stepped out of the bag. I looked for hooks or holes in it but found nothing. The microfiber outer layer is soft to the touch and the padding on the inside is, as mentioned, a nice weight. It's definitely all season if you're not cold blooded. I don't know if it will survive the winter if you live in a cold climate. You will definitely need some blankets. I put a 90x90 duvet cover on it that fits perfectly so I know the queen's measurements are accurate. I definitely appreciate it as I have ugg boots that are supposed to be king size and far from it. I could never find a cover that fit so I switched to this one...I don't know how it will hold up in the wash but I'll come back and let you know if it falls apart. That's why I use duvet covers. This means less frequent washing of the duvet. Because to be honest, you're not going to spend $50 on a comforter and wash/dry it like you spent $500. You always get what you pay for. If you are on a budget, always treat the cheaper item with tender love and care to get the most out of it. Trust me it pays off. Overall I would highly recommend this duvet and all the alternatives offered by the brand. I am very happy with it.
