03/06/19*** Rating updated. At first I gave 4 stars in the rating (see below) but now if I could give zero stars it would be a better rating for it. I just got home and noticed the grow box is at the bottom of my tank. All the children got out. Some survived. One was definitely killed and his body was found on a breakwater 😢 The suction cup definitely didn't hold the incubator. Will definitely be returning this! Garbage. Save money and buy something else! Very disappointed with this breeder. It worked for me for exactly 7 days until the suction cups failed and my babies were released 😡 Now I can't guarantee the babies will survive in my 75 gallon tank full of large cichlids as they are all extinct. I was really looking forward to it and bought it immediately. It would be 5 stars but I would say it needs better suction cups or something to hold it together. I spent over 5 minutes attaching the suction cups to the glass as it moves from the side. I wanted the suction cups already built into the grow box. When I move the brooder the suction cups keep falling off the box which is a little scary considering I don't want the fry to escape. But so far the incubator hasn't moved and has stayed in place for the past 12 hours. I hope I don't have any more problems with suction cups. Otherwise I am very satisfied with the purchase.
