I really like this monitor

I really like this monitor. I used to have a used audio only monitor that had power supply connection issues that caused a lot of white noise and popping, but it served its purpose well for over a year. The Vtech VM312-2 monitor's sound is crystal clear as long as you stay within range, so listening is like a breath of fresh air compared to my old one. The only downside to this monitor is that even with the volume on the parent and baby units cranked all the way up it doesn't quite reach the max volume of my old monitor, which is normal indoors, but once you're outside it's easy to drown out (unless the child is not crying, which I would rather hear before it becomes distressed). Another downside is that the resolution of the video isn't very high (nothing that looks like a promotional video or image makes it look like it, which is a bit deceptive even when you specify the resolution. An image is much more inclusive than one number for most people I think). The resolution quality reminds me a lot of home video cameras used in horror movies, especially the night vision resolution, it's scary but nice to see your kid in the dark :) I really can't complain about what I spent on it. Most other video monitors I looked at cost over $300, which was out of my price range. I would definitely recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a bargain price video monitor who has not experienced better video quality than a more expensive monitor.
