Review on πŸ“· Funlavie Camera Lens Mug: Perfect Novelty Birthday Gift for Men and Women - Travel in Style and Sip in Fun by Natalie Grant

Great gift, mediocre mug.

There's a good chance you'll use this as a prank gift. Not the most practical mug, but fun. First, like a false lens. It looks quite realistic and the transparent (plastic) cover is nice to the touch. This is such a funny mug that it makes me laugh every time I look at it. Check out the photo comparison of this mug and the real EF 24-105 f/4L lens. Second as a mug. The inside is made of stainless steel, so probably food safe. When I first received it, there was a lot of black dust inside, but it washed off easily. Chinese sweatshop dust I guess. But there are a lot of nooks and crannies outside that I think are difficult to clean. And I'm not sure how many times the parts of this mug can be washed before they start to wear out. The shape is not ideal for a mug. Narrow below, wide above. The lid is screw on and has a rubber seal so I think it's pretty leak proof. The lid has no drinking holes so you have to remove it completely to drink from the mug. It builds pressure when you pour hot liquid into it. I just didn't like it as a mug for everyday use. But I still like it for the novelty and the effort that goes into every detail. So I would say it would be a great gift, dare I say it, a gift from a white elephant. Funny but useless. I bought this mug at a discount in exchange for an honest review.
