Review on Turkish Cotton Peshtemal Washcloth Kitchen by Alicia Lopez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cool, EZ Elegance, Functionality, Designer Decor. TO BUY !

(SET of 8) Turkish cotton hand and face towels (my color choice is white). soft and become absorbent characteristic of cotton, so don't throw them away after a few washes. Simply wash first (no bleach!), use as usual, remember to avoid fabric softener (which coats the cotton and makes it less absorbent); Keep using/washing them as usual and they will eventually be a lot more absorbent than they were the first time : b. (To protect the fringes and prevent them from unraveling, I wash on a gentle cycle. No delicate fabrics, just a slow/medium wash.) Keep in mind that Turkish peshtemel are *much* thinner than traditional American towels! I adapt very easily, but if you already know I don't, it may take time to get used to it. I really like these hand/face towels. I read a previous review where a woman likes to use them as kitchen towels. What a great idea! I bought all white for our bathrooms which is perfect. However, knowing how I totally overuse and soil my kitchen towels (food, olive oil and +++ tomato soups), I would personally opt for a deep, light color for kitchen use instead. I am concerned about how the "whites" will hold up over time, but we have owned and used them multiple times a day for many months and they still look brand new! but they end up on the hanging hook, are space-saving, functional and dry quickly. Walking decor! :bDimensions: After multiple wash/dry cycles, each towel measures an impressive 24" x 33" (excluding fringes). These are hand/face sized towels. They will easily cover and dry a baby :D We also own a much larger bath/beach/tablecloth/cloak/universal pestemels, use them daily and proudly display them!
