Review on ๐ŸŽพ Mini BALLPORT Tennis Ball Pick Up Hopper by Tourna by Brett Jarvis

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good design, cheap construction

I bought this funnel for its light weight and bead capacity. I'm a regular tennis player and I just wanted something to help me train between practice and games. I also bought 36 Penn pressureless tennis balls for practice. The bottom bars worked great with both non-pressurized tennis balls and regular pressurized balls. Sometimes it becomes difficult to pick up balls when other balls that are already in the bunker are blocking each other. The hopper will hold 36 non-pressurized tennis balls if you pack them in tightly - you may need to make small adjustments to the balls to fit. I love the design of this product but the workmanship is disappointing. Obviously this is a product made as cheaply as possible without putting much emphasis on quality. For example, the handles are designed to snap into two different positions to lift the hopper or use it to collect balls. Due to the poor workmanship, the handles do not snap tightly. This causes the handles to lose stability, which can cause the bin to tip over in gusts of wind. When assembling the bunker, poor quality was revealed. The instructions provided are very basic and insufficient - just a little effort can make assembly much easier. Also, painful microfiber glass splinters fell into my hands during assembly. I had to wipe down all the parts with a damp cloth to remove the fiberglass splinters from them. Overall, I recommend this product for its convenient size and light weight. I wish there was a better, comparable product - I'm happy to pay a little more for that.
