The lid may not be in fashion, but who likes to sit on a cold lid? Not me! At least I don't have a matching contour mat! Now THOSE things are germline! In any case, this lid fits a little loosely on the standard round lid/toilet seat, but I'm not sure it will fit the long one. There is a lot of free space, so it could be. Because the lid cover is so thick, the toilet seat lid doesn't swing back towards the cistern as much as a thinner lid would and it appears to fall forward towards the seat when you sit down. so I sit down quickly. :) The reason for the one star downgrade is that the rubber strap is a little loose even though it's brand new. Washes and dries without shrinking.
