It is difficult to determine the purpose of these gloves. They're almost too good to shoot with gloves on, I'd say more like a racing glove. I'll be buying a second pair just in case, so that's not a problem. The skin is super soft. I wear either large or XL, I bought XL and they were snug. To fix this I rubbed leather conditioner on both gloves, rubbed them in and wore them for a few minutes, now they are perfect. I've been looking for a pair of these gloves for a long time and when I opened the box and saw them I knew they were the suede gloves my dad wore when he was shooting. They have elastic bands around the wrist that fit snugly and hide a watch or something. I've never seen black paint on my hands and if I have I don't care if it goes away.
