There are many headset standards on the market today, but the vast majority use cups that are pressed into the frame's head tube. And when it's time to change your headset, you'll need this fun-looking RT-1 tool to help you figure it out. With the RT-1 you simply insert the pointed tool head into the head tube and pull the four "legs" through. You then slide it back to the head cup and hit the top of the tool with a hammer and the head cup slides off the head tube. I have had an RT-1 for many years and have never had a problem removing the head shell. That makes this tool 5 stars for me.
