I use it for a short time, but so far there have been no problems with it. I placed the transmit and receive units in line of sight, about 75 feet apart. I don't know how well blocks with obstacles (like walls) between them work. However, for my purpose it worked very well with no noise issues on the display. As I have read in previous reviews, the transmitter unit gets very hot. I made a heatsink for heat dissipation. Again, I haven't had any issues with heat or anything else so far.
