Overall, I really like the lights! It was exactly the look I was aiming for with minimal installation effort. So I give 5 stars for that. But why am I NOT giving a full 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. The included on/off switches (2 in total) are rubbish! And this is a MUST for my kitchen! Totally disappointed with this one. Later I will explain why I think they are garbage.2. The included cables do the job and seem good enough BUT they are VERY long for under cupboard use. I read a previous review where the man explained that he had to cut and splice the wires together so he didn't have so many extra wires that would make it a cheap job. I wish I knew how to do it because I would. Cable lengths are just NOT practical.3. The product is good but I don't think it's worth the price it's sold for. So that's basically the MINUS. but there are PLUS plus points: 1. super thin2. bright light 3. The tape is actually sticky enough to hold the light. This eliminates the hassle and inconvenience associated with drilling holes in cabinets. But then again, you still need to drill holes for the brackets to hold the ridiculously long cords.4. On/off switches make it easy to turn the light on and off. and they're thin enough to be tucked under a closet and you'll never see it! But they have a downside. **** SWITCHES ARE NOT WORKING ******* I tried everything before doing a full install. Everything worked great! And then he worked 3 days. And then I go to turn them on and NOTHING! So I looked at the lights and they just flickered a little. After about 10 seconds of flickering, they lit up fully. I then turned them off and on again, and nothing. I had time to play around with it today and narrowed the problem down to an on/off switch. I then tried the second on/off switch included in the kit and the same thing! So I pressed the switch several times in different places and it turned on. Then I turned it off and on again and NOTHING! Not very happy with the switches because it was the ONE thing to have when buying lamps. So be sure to look for an alternative switch if you need it too.
