My first impulse was to scream "Oh no!”. when I saw the item being delivered. The box has a tab in the slot closure. When I received it I opened it without tearing the tape or tag as the box was unsealed. It wasn't in a plastic bag or sealed in any way. All the parts were there, fresh from the factory. So this is not a complaint but a compliment to Revain's delivery system. If the US postal system were to deliver them some pieces would certainly be lost as many of my Christmas cards have been "verified" received this year. When I upgrade and replace these machines, I've managed to accumulate a lot of disks. I also suspect my kids threw a few of theirs on the pile. So, with this device, it is now easy to collect various files from old hard drives and then properly destroy all the remaining ones or reformat them for more storage space. . It's easy to use; My computer recognizes it and it connects to the drives I'm checking with no problems.
