I don't have a comparison but these guards are great. On the skin they are not comfortable at all, although I don't expect that from a set of protectors, but over the layer they are comfortable and fit great. I'm happy with them and they give me peace of mind when I ride off-road and push the limits of my abilities. I chose this brand only based on what I read from experienced users, this brand seems to be the right one. I can't say if that's the case, but I went this route and I don't regret it.
