I bought this adapter because my original Canon adapter got lost in the mail for a while. It fits but is not tight like the Canon branded adapter (OEM version was two weeks late and works great). Tried with my 70-200Lmii and Sigma 24-70A. Both lenses accidentally lost contact with the camera while I was trying to take a picture. It was more than uncomfortable. The adapter had no firm, secure attachment to the case. There is a little game. This may be the reason for the connection loss. I gave it one star because the lens lost contact with the camera body. The adapter also caused my Sigma lens to shake constantly when focusing.
