Exact replacement of the old part.

I just installed this ice cream maker in a KitchenAid refrigerator, model KSRS251. Before attempting to install, I watched a few U-Tube videos on how to remove the old device and install the new device. Despite the fact that he has a different item, he installs in place of the old ice maker with no problems. It came with a new wiring harness which I didn't want to use. The original icemaker's heater grille installed with no problems. After installing it after about an hour it started making new ice cubes and has been working flawlessly ever since.
