Terrible AM radio reception; Replacement GREAT

I bought this radio to have portable access to my favorite AM radio stations. AM reception is absolutely terrible. FM is fine. I notified the company who apologized profusely and sent a prompt replacement which works EXCELLENT. I didn't even have to bother with returning the original radio. Additional follow up from the company makes me feel like they care about their customers.
