Mine just arrived today and I had it hooked up in 2 hours including stair work and stripping the wires. I use it as a backup camera while driving and have a Toyota 4Runner with a 17ft Starcraft AR-One 15RB camper. The total distance is about 27 feet for the signal to reach the driver. I installed it on the top center running light high up in the rear of the trailer and aimed it at an angle down to the rear. I tried the camera app on an iPad mini and an iPhone 7 and both worked great and took very clear pictures. Depending on where I mount the camera, I have to keep the headlights on all the time, which I do when towing. It constantly needs electricity to work. Definitely 5 stars for value for money.
