I really liked these headphones - you get a nice case/charger, mini USB -> USB charging cable (no plug but who doesn't have one lying around when needed?) and three Rubber ear pads of different sizes in addition to the headphones themselves (see photo). The charging case also has a magnet, making it very easy to charge the earbuds. There is an indicator light on the back of the charger that shows whether it is charging or fully charged. When it needed charging, the headphones would beep and then tell me the battery was low. They are excellent for reducing noise levels. I haven't tested them on an airplane, but my husband (general contractor) has tested them on his saws, welders, power tools, etc. e) He liked them very much because he didn't give them away. 😮Bluetooth performance is pretty standard. I was able to step away from my phone (which I was connected to) anywhere on the same floor and get non-impacting performance. As I walked upstairs, the noise began to come and go as I moved through the house. After a few days of use, my husband reported that Bluetooth often cuts out with 1 second flashes. He keeps it connected to his phone in his pocket so it's within advertised range (one star removed). Sound quality I didn't deduct another star for, but please read on: My husband complained that the sound bounced back and forth when he moved his head. Tried buds and found similar. However, I replaced the rubber parts with smaller ones that fit better. This immediately helped improve sound in both ears, which didn't cut off with movement. My husband found the bass to be weak, but he may have expected too much from $30 Bluetooth headphones (other brands are over $100). I travel a lot for work and I'm no stranger to headphones. So far they have been the most comfortable. My husband (again a general contractor) needs something that offers hearing protection and not cords which can be dangerous around power tools. This works great for both of us. Bottom line: although I didn't pay for them, at this price point they are excellent. DISCLAIMER: I received these headphones in exchange for a fair and honest review.
