A great way to upgrade a tired/broken remote while the internal electronics are still fully functional! Arrived in an individual zippered pouch with key ring. Simply unplug the old remote, remove the battery/circuit board and insert into the new case. It appears to be an "OEM" device and I had no problems transferring internal components or later running it. As a former auto mechanic who switched to computers in the 90's I can say that I was pleasantly surprised by both the quality and the price of this product. Especially given the cost of a "used" or "refurbished" OEM unit that may or may not be available.
