They do what they say, reduce the wind. I pulled them off my ear and sure saw the difference. I could hear my music more easily and overhear my friends' conversations. Apparently they are ineffective in cross winds. I wear the straps quite tight so they are a little tight and a little uncomfortable. However, you get used to it. My friend wears his straps looser but he tells me the product still works fine. Generally very happy with them.
