The EZ Pearl is as good as other brands and I found them to fit the tire even quicker. Get a kitchen scale (small digital) and you can measure out the exact amount you need. After carrying bike wheels around the shop for several years, I've set them up with spoons and used them for balancing myself. I can tell you that they work and work very well. I mounted a tire on the back of my FJ1200 and went for an unbalanced ride. At around 50 km/h you could feel the tire starting to wobble. After I added them everything smoothed out and ran great. They are ideal for motorcycle tires because they have a narrower contact patch than car tires. Although I think you can use them for that too.
