First disclaimer: if the shoe doesn't fit you, don't wear it. Sneakers in particular should fit your feet. Your heel should not come off your back; The toes should have enough space in the front, but in general shoes should not be too loose, and shoes that are too tight are bad. I started running in the Wave Inspire a few years ago because (a) they fit me and (b) they fit me. I'm a light guy (130lbs) and a hyperpronator with flat feet. The Wave Inspire has the stability I need. I use them for running on concrete, trails or anywhere else and they last a long time in good condition. This latest model, the 17th feels just as good as the 16th, 15th and I forgot how many before it. If you need a stabilizing shoe and it fits you, it comes highly recommended.
