Review on πŸ”΄ Bloody B540 RGB Gaming Keyboard by Adam Wielgosz ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent product, the best quality.

The keyboard is good overall. I use it with a mouse also from Bloody (T5), I am satisfied with both. Of course there are flaws, but they always are. Switches - let's see, maybe they are very good in terms of durability. But prices have now skyrocketed, and I do not recommend taking this keyboard for more than 5k. You can take the Corsair K65 for that kind of money - without backlight, but more reliable, because there are red cherry tomatoes, and the manufacturer is good.

Pros
  • The most important thing is the mechanics. Although the switches are Chinese, they are close to Cherry MX Black, while having a slightly smaller stroke, and they don’t rumble like many mechanical keyboards - they haven’t gone far from membranes in terms of noise. Let's see how long they last, but they worked for me for six months without problems. No extra buttons, just what you need. Yes, and the keyboard layout is normal, and it’s easy to get used to the one-story Enter. The backlight is bright, with a reflective backing. Perhaps for some, the dim Cyrillic alphabet will be a minus, but dim does not mean not illuminated, and even now some do not even need the backlight - the arrangement of characters on the keyboard is easily learned. I also liked the fact that you can adjust the zoning of the backlight. The brightness is also adjustable. Who needs macros - there are no buttons for them, but the keyboard has memory and through the software from the site (KeyDominator) you can set them to any button, while there are 3 profiles.
Cons
  • I personally did not really like the doubled space in terms of design. It’s convenient for anyone, but for me it is associated with cheap office keyboards, where these are often found. A wrist rest is a really good solution, but they would have made some kind of mount on it, otherwise it just dangles up and down, except that it doesn’t walk around. Well, the switches could still be taken even from Kailh - there are Greetech, almost unknown to anyone, and it is difficult to judge them before buying a keyboard.
