This product consists of several parts including wiper and wiper arm. All I really needed was a new wiper blade, but I bought it whole because it was only a few dollars more than a wiper blade. Of course I could easily remove the old wiper from the old lever and attach the new one without using any tools and spending only a few minutes. Some reviews sound like you need to replace your hand. Yes if the arm is broken. But if the lever is intact, you can easily replace the wiper. You can save a few bucks by just buying a wiper if that's all you need; But for me, it was worth the extra money knowing that if there was a problem I would have what I needed to replace everything.
