Do not wash hot or tumble dry. They will not shrink if washed in cold water with a little bleach and regular detergent and line dried. You will be clean! Don't think that things you wash in cold water won't be disinfected. It is not true. A little bleach will take care of that! (No need to overtighten the bleach, a little goes a long way!)
