I literally expected a plush scarf, like fleece, which was written in the description (the term "plush" that is) and which really looked in the photo, but still the scarf is wonderful and so snuggly, beautiful and long to wrap around. Ideal for a very tall person as it is very long. Washed quite well in a normal wash (washed in a front load machine, I don't think I would trust a top load machine as it's a well made but very thin scarf), no shrinkage. More satisfied than not, just wish it was a few inches shorter as it's quite heavy.
