Review on 🐶 Medium Doggie Door for Exterior Doors -Durable Plastic Pet Door for Dogs and Cats with Aluminum Lining, 2-Way Locking Slide Panel, Soft Flap, Rust-Proof, Easy Installation by Karrie Murphy

I bought this door to allow our pets to walk between the basement and the main living area of our home. Although it is designed for outdoor use, we will use it for indoor use. I have not installed the door yet as we have not yet completed the necessary repairs. I will update my review after the door is installed. In the meantime I would like to leave a review about the door itself. The door is light and strong. The flap is heavy, so it hangs straight and nice, but moves easily once the magnetic strips are torn. My only concern is that the bottom magnetic strip is not connected to the door panel. The strips on the sides connect together easily, but the bottom doesn't connect directly, although it does float down and shouldn't be a problem once installed. I hope that after installation it can be aligned accordingly. I think this would only be an issue if the door was used on an exterior door where you need a tighter seal. (See picture #3). For now I think it's a good door that's easy to install. The template they sent is very helpful for the installation. I look forward to trying this door out!
