Installation required careful measurement and rechecking. But in general everything was pretty simple. One downside: it becomes a hassle if we ever need to take the drawer out, for example to fix the drawer slides or access the cabinet drawer. We've been using it for about 2 months. So I can't say anything about durability, but so far so good. I can say that I love convenience! The cords and clutter on the countertop are driving me crazy.
